Illustration for a competition set by Liberty’s – to draw or paint their building, the winners to feature in a book about this iconic London store. Luckily enough to be chosen.

I drew influence from John Pipers illustration of various building, from the 1940s/50s and chose the view of the building from their Little Marlborough Street entrance all painted in a limited colour palette of Gold, Black, Grey and Terracotta.
