My entry into a competition set by Leicester Libraries, to created an image to celebrate just what books and reading can add to your life.

I chose to try and show all the things that books can teach us: science, history, cooking, music, romance, sci-fi, just trying to visualise the enjoyment of reading, also adding in  two of  Leicester icons, Richard III and Joe Orton.

Luckily this illustration was chosen and reproduced throughout all Leicester Libraries.
